Dear Greenwich-Lenhartsville Elementary School Families:

I'm Matthew Pile, and I'm thrilled and honored to become part of the Kutztown Area School District as the new Principal of Greenwich-Lenhartsville Elementary School.

During my 16 years in the Allentown School District, I've held various roles, including elementary teacher, assistant principal, principal, and Executive Director of Elementary Schools. I live with my wife, Annika Pile, and our children Avianna, Lidia, and Vincent—are my biggest support. Outside of work, I cherish moments with them, as well as activities like sports, hiking, hunting, and fishing.

Throughout my career, I've developed core beliefs and values that guide my approach as an educational leader. I prioritize building positive relationships and fostering collaboration among students, staff, and the community. Holding high expectations for myself and others, I also emphasize effective communication, transparency, and making decisions in the best interest of students. These principles have shaped me into the leader I am today.

I'm overflowing with enthusiasm to be joining Greenwich-Lenhartsville Elementary School. I eagerly anticipate collaborating with students, faculty, staff, families, and the wider Kutztown community to create an enriching and memorable experience for all.
